This summer, Square Enix is introducing an innovative twist to its renowned HD-2D style, combining familiar elements with a fresh, action-oriented role-playing experience that centers on time travel. The forthcoming release of The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales marks a shift from the earlier, solely turn‐based approach.
Players who have previously enjoyed HD-2D role-playing games from Square Enix are set to receive additional rewards. These extras are available if you have game progress saved on the same account used to purchase the new release. Note that for those on Steam, the game must appear in your purchase history. The bonus rewards relate to progress in several past titles, which include:
- Octopath Traveler 0
- Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake
- Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster
- Various editions of Daylife
- Triangle Strategy
Further information regarding reward eligibility and instructions to claim your bonuses is available through the official Square Enix page. The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales is scheduled to launch later this Set for launch this year on PC, PlayStation 5, Switch 2, and Xbox Series S/X.
