The gaming world continues to evolve, and with it, the way fans experience their favorite music. Nintendo has introduced a fresh music application that provides access to an extensive collection of soundtracks from beloved video games, including timeless titles like The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario. The app also features selections from more recent games, promising to enhance the listening experience over time with continuous updates. To enjoy the app, users don’t need a Nintendo Switch, but they must possess a Nintendo Switch Online membership and an active account. The Nintendo Music app is currently within reach for both Android and iOS universes in selected regions around the world.

The music application can be downloaded on Android and iOS devices through Google Play and the App Store. To utilize the app, a Nintendo Switch Online membership along with a Nintendo account is necessary for users.

At present, the Nintendo Music app is launched in several countries, including the US, the UK, Japan, Australia, and various others. However, it bears significance to highlight that it has not yet been rolled out in India.

This app lets users stream an array of soundtracks from games such as Splatoon 3, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Super Mario Odyssey, Kirby Star Allies, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Pikmin 4, and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, among others. It offers curated playlists organized by games, genres, characters, and moods, allowing for an enjoyable listening experience. Additionally, users have the freedom to craft their own playlists, mimicking functionalities found in popular music platforms like Spotify and YouTube Music.

In a thoughtful addition, the app features a Spoiler Prevention option. If users haven’t experienced a particular game yet and wish to avoid its soundtrack, they can activate this option and select the game. This will ensure that the specific tracks remain hidden from their library until they choose to remove the game from the list.

Furthermore, the app provides an Extend feature, enabling users to prolong the playtime of any selected track through looping. Users can opt to loop a track for intervals of 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 60 minutes, further enhancing their enjoyment of the music.
