Dune: Awakening recently underwent modifications that reshaped its Deep Desert zone, opening the stage for unexpected competitive encounters in areas previously reserved for cooperative play.
On July 7, changes in the patch transformed the layout, inadvertently creating situations where unprepared players faced challenges during large-scale raids. The development team has acknowledged that internal miscommunication led to this mix-up, causing a number of players to lose valuable bases and equipment.
To address these issues, the team is working on restoring the lost resources. A variety of materials, items, and vehicle components will be made available through a rewards section by the end of the week.
Looking ahead, efforts to curb various exploits that have allowed some to gain unfair advantages are already underway. A dedicated group will enhance security measures to counter hacking and similar problems, and future patches are set to bring additional improvements in essential gameplay elements and overall quality.
Dune: Awakening is now available on PC, inviting players to explore its evolving desert environment with renewed balance and continuous updates.
